Newcastle Foundation: ‘Be A Game Changer’

In February 2019, the Newcastle United Foundation launched 'Be A Game Changer'

This campaign hopes to encourage people in our city to talk openly about mental health and to provide tips on improving physical and mental wellbeing.

‘Mental health problems are common. In fact, one in four of us will experience a mental health problem each year. That’s an average of 12,989 fans at every Newcastle United game.
So we all need to look after our mental health, just like we look after our physical health.
As football fans we keep a close eye on our team – and we know you keep a close eye on your mates too. So we know that’s the best way to get the ball rolling and start talking. Together, we can save lives.’
